360° Panoramas from Paraty
Paraty is a preserved Portuguese colonial (1500–1822) and Brazilian Imperial (1822–1889) municipality with a population of about 43,000. The name "Paraty" originates from the local Guaianá Indians' indigenous Tupi language, named for an abundant local fish native to the region. Paraty is located on the Costa Verde (Green Coast), a lush green corridor that runs along the coastline of the state of Rio de Janeiro, in Brazil.
Lagoa Azul
Lagoa Azul, The Blue Lagoon, is a great stop if you are in Paraty! For schooner tours, this spot is perhaps the highlight of the day. It is a stop on the high seas, where it looks like a natural pool of crystal blue color, living up to its name.
Praia do Rancho
Praia dos Ranchos is an extension of Praia de Fora. There are bars and restaurants in the corner, where there are several ranches. In this corner, the sea is calmer and more sheltered, with few waves. At certain times of the year, the sea comes very close to the ranches, leaving a very narrow strip of sand.
