Ola Flytt
Ola Flytt (born Ole Johannesen Dagsland, 1832–1926) was a well-known ferryman in Haugesund. For many years, before the bridges were built, he rowed people and goods between the mainland and the islands — especially Risøy. He became an important part of everyday life in the growing town. Today, he is commemorated with a statue on Risøy.
