Haugesund has become an increasingly popular cruise destination on the Norwegian west coast, attracting large vessels throughout the season. From Karmsundet, cruise ships can be seen arriving and departing the city, often passing close to the shoreline as they navigate the narrow strait between Haugesund and Karmøy.
