Aksnes

Aksnes is located on the mainland side of Karmøy Municipality, facing Førdesfjorden, just a short drive from Haugesund city centre. It is best known for Aksnesstranda, a sheltered beach and recreation area popular among locals from Haugesund and the surrounding Haugalandet region.
